In the garden
Landscaping is one of my projects outside work. I’ve planted roses, junipers, dogwoods, and a maple, and there’s plenty to learn along the way.
This is a place to collect those projects, from individual plants to bigger changes around the yard.

Chess
Chess is another interest of mine. There’s a lot to work through in a single position: what a move changes, what it leaves behind, and what the other player can do next.

Strength training
I’m also into strength training. Lifting is a practical thing to work on: learning the movements, paying attention to form, and gradually getting stronger.

A little background
My background includes philosophy, public affairs, and work with data. In 2020, I started studying AI independently. That learning became part of the work I do now.
Philosophy is still an interest of mine, especially logic and the work of thinking a question through. Building things gives me another way to learn. This site brings those interests together, with room for work, independent projects, and ordinary life. The chronology has the dates and details; the rest of the site is a place to explore what I’m doing with them.
